Day 1: Airport Bagdogra – Phuentsholing (About 160 Kms 4hrs)

 Arrival Bagdogra Airport, our representative will meet, greet, assist and transfer you to Phuentsholing. Arrival Check into the hotel. Overnight stay.

 

Day 2: Phuentsholing – Thimphu (About 176 km 6 hrs)

After breakfast complete the immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu.

The capital city of Bhutan. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight in the hotel.

 

Day 3: Thimphu Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Thimphu, which includes the following places of interest:

 

Folk Heritage Museum

Royal Textile Academy & Museum

Royal Palace (Outer view only )

Trashichhodzong – Fortress in Thimphu

Handicrafts Emporium

Simthoka  Dzong

 

Day 4: Thimphu – Punakha/Wangdu (77 km/3 hours)

After breakfast drive to Punakha with one stop at Dochula pass (3080m).Here you can view and admire the Chorten, Mani wall, and prayer flags which decorates the highest point on the road from .visit to Chimi Lhakhang. The temple is dedicated to the divine madman-Saint Drukpa Kuenley and the temple is also known as the Temple of Fertility  & Punakha Dzong, one of the oldest and the most beautiful fort in the country. This building uses to serve as the capital of Bhutan till 1950’s.

Overnight stay at Punakha.

 

Day 5: Punakha – Paro ( About 72 km 2 hrs)

The morning after breakfast transfer to Paro. The Paro valley extends from the confluence of the Paro Chhu and the Wang Chhu rivers at Chuzom up to Mt. Jomolhari at the Tibetan border to the North. This picturesque region is one of the widest valleys in the kingdom and is covered in fertile rice fields and has a beautiful, crystalline river meandering down the valley. Arrival check into the hotel. Overnight stay in Paro.

 

Day 6: Paro Sightseeing - Lataguri ( About 176  km 6 hrs)

After breakfast, you would proceed for a sightseeing tour of Paro which would include the following places:

Drukgyel Dzong – Ruins of an old fortress in Paro

Kyichu Lhakhang – Famous Monastery in Paro

Ta Dzong – National Museum of Bhutan

Reached Lataguri by evening. Overnight stay at Lataguri.  

 

Day 7: Lataguri - Airport Bagdogra ( About 78km 2 hrs)
