Day 01- Hanoi Arrival Upon arrival at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel for check in. At leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 02- Hanoi city tour After breakfast our guide and bus will meet you at your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Enjoy a full day city tour exploring the fascinating Old Quarter and its hundreds of specialty shops selling silk clothing, lacquerware, embroidered linens, furniture, bamboo, cooking utensils, ceremonial objects and more. You will also have the chance to visit Hanoi's main cultural attractions including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his House on Stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature. Stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake and enjoy people-watching at one of the numerous stylish cafés or shop for modern art in the city's myriad galleries. Finish the tour with a performance of the traditional water puppets. Tour ends late afternoon. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 03-Hanoi – Ha Long Bay – Hanoi Leave your hotel at 08:00 – 08:30 am for an enjoyable 3.5 hour drive to Ha Long Bay via the Red River Delta. On arrival you will board our boat for a 4-hour cruise through the stunning bay, stopping along the way to visit some of the beautiful limestone caves. During the cruise our boat staff will serve a sumptuous seafood lunch on board. Sail back to harbor and drive back to your hotel in Hanoi for overnight.
Day 04- Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc After breakfast board the bus and head south for a 2-hour drive along Highway 1. Stop for a short visit at the Dinh and Le sanctuaries and then move on to Tam Coc. After lunch, enjoy a 2-hour boat trip along the Boi River visiting caves and ancient temples on the way. This is followed by a cycle ride on quiet roads passing villages, rice fields and rocky outcrops in the Tam Coc - Bich Dong area (around 5 km) before driving back to Hanoi for overnight.
Day 05- Hanoi – At leisure – Departure There are no activities planned for your final day so you are free to enjoy your free time as you wish until check-out time and transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
