Itinerary -


Day 01: Arrive Guwahati - Manas National Park -

Arrive at the Guwahati airport / railway station, as our representative will be waiting for your welcome arrival according to your arrival details. Upon arrival meet with our representative and drive to Manas National Park, situated within the foothills of Himalaya in the north bank of the Brahmaputra River.

After a 05 hrs drive we will reach at Manas National Park. Upon arrival transfer to your pre booked accommodation. In the evening enjoy the vicinity around your accommodation or have pleasant walk around the place. Overnight stay in Manas.


Day 02: Manas National Park -

This morning we will start our first Jungle ride to the Manas National Park. The jungle safari is the best medium to explore a wildlife sanctuary and view the wildlife from very close quarters. The one hour jungle safari will take us to the dense and narrow paths thereby increasing the chances of animal sighting.

Later we will return to the resort for fresh-n-up and breakfast. After breakfast we will get ready for our first vehicle safari to the national park. The vehicle safari to the national park will be for two to two and half hrs. Here we will move on the wild path of Manas National Park to explore the most stunning pristine wildlife habitat.

Return back to the resort for lunch. After lunch we will again move on our wildlife jungle safari to explore the Brahmaputra valley with its semi-evergreen forest. The forest is very rich in species of all Indian wildlife. Here you will have a chance to view the only known home for the rare and endangered Assam Roofed Turtle, Hispid Hare, Golden Langur and Pygmy Hog.

Later in the evening return to the resort. Dinner and overnight stay at resort.


Day 03: Manas National Park - Nameri National Park -

Today we will leave for our next nature's pride Nameri National Park, situated within the foothills of Eastern Himalayas. Upon reaching transfer to the Nature camp. Evening free at leisure or make a visit to the nearby Pygmy Hog Foundation and learn about the species. The Pygmy Hogs are one of the world's most endangered mammals. These Pygmy Hogs are kept in captive breeding in Guwahati and now they are kept in semi-natural conditions of Nameri before being set free into the park.

Overnight stay in camp.


Day 04: Nameri National Park -

This morning we will go for a fascinating river rafting on Jia Bhoroli River. For the same we will drive 25 kms from the resort towards the river upstream, from where we will enjoy the downstream rafting on the inflatable raft. Here we will have a chance to see a lot of migratory waterfowl and if you are lucky then you can even spot the Royal Bengal Tiger and the Elephant on the banks of the river from the boat. The 13 km stretch of rafting will takes around three hours.

After the river rafting return to the camp site for lunch. After lunch we will go on a nature trail along the reserve. Here we will be accompanied with a knowledgeable forest guides and armed forest guards. The forest treks are the best way to explore the Nameri National Park as it allows you to get very close to the wildlife life. Here once can spot the rare species of white-winged wood ducks and the great hornbills.


Day 05: Nameri National Park - Kaziranga -

On the fifth day of our Assam adventure, we will leave for the UNESCO world Heritage site and Rhino's country - Kaziranga National Park. Upon reaching Kaziranga transfer to the wildlife resort.

After fresh-n-up one can go on a guided tour through the forest near your accommodation along the river bank. Also visit the tea gardens and rubber plantations. Later return to the resort for overnight stay.


Day 06: Kaziranga -

Today we will awake a little early and get ready to explore the forest. Here we will be moving through the tall grass while the morning mists slowly lift is an experience that one won't forget easily. The safari is best mean for wildlife viewing.

We will return to the resort for breakfast. After breakfast we will go on our first Jeep safari to the national park for wildlife viewing in the central zone.

Later return to the resort for fresh-n-up and spent the time till lunch. After lunch we will go on our second jeep safari of the day, this time we will visit the Western zone of the national park. One can also spent some time at the Donga view point, situated in western zone.

Later return to the resort for overnight stay.


Day 07: Kaziranga - Jorhat (100 km) - Gibbon's Sanctuary -

Morning after breakfast we will leave for Jorhat the tea estate of Assam. Upon reaching we will check into the hotel in Jorhat. After fresh-n-up we will drive to Gibbon's Sanctuary in search of the hoolock gibbon's the only apes in India. The sanctuary is also famous for the Bengal slow loris the only nocturnal primate found in the northeast Indian states. During our wildlife search to the Gibbon Sanctuary we will be able to spot other primates as the stump-tailed macaque, northern pig-tailed macaque, eastern Assamese macaque, rhesus macaque, and capped langur.

The mammals found in the sanctuary are Indian elephants, tigers, leopards, jungle cats, wild boar, the civets, the squirrels etc. Later in the evening return to Jorhat for overnight stay.


Day 08: Jorhat - Dibru Saikhowa - 

Today we will leave for the bird's paradise Dibru Saikhowa, situated in the south bank for Brahmaputra. The Dibru-Saikhowa national park or biosphere reserve is famous for its vibrant wildlife and its pristine scenic beauty. The park is home to many rare and endangered species of wildlife.

The semi-evergreen forests and littoral and swamp forests is home of about 36 species of mammals and above 400 species of avifauna.

Upon arrival check into the wildlife resort. Spend a quiet evening with a hot cup of Assami tea and enjoying the chirping of birds. Overnight stay at resort.


Day 09: Dibru Saikhowa -

Morning after breakfast we will go on a full day wildlife tour to Dibru - Saikhowa with packed lunch. We will move to Guijan Ghat or Saikhowa Ghat to explore the island in the middle of the mighty Brahmaputra River. Witness a number of native and migratory birdlife. The main focus of the national park is for the conservation of white winged wood duck in its natural habitat.

The National Park is also famous for the wild horses, these horses have escaped the Army camps of World War-II, and some of them are freed during the earthquake of 1950. The third and fourth generations of these horses are still found in the national park.

Later in the evening return back to the resort for overnight stay.


Day 10: Dibru Saikhowa - Namdapha (Deban) -

Today we will leave for Namdapha National Park (Arunachal) crossing the Assam Arunachal border. After the border formalities we will leave for Deban. Deban Forest camp is situated on the bank for river Noa-Dihing. Upon arrival check into the forest lodge. After lunch enjoy the scenic beauty around the forest camp as it surrounded by evergreen forest over-looking the river Noa-Dihing. If time permits one can opt for a short trekking, hiking or evening angling on the river Noa-Dihing. Overnight stay at guest house.


Day 11: Deban - Hornbill Camp (10 km trek)-

Today we will start our day very early and leave our forest camp and start trekking inside the Namdapha National Park. The 10 km trekking route will take us to the Hornbill camp. En-route to Hornbill we will explore the area of Haldibari and Bulbulia. Haldibari is a picturesque camping spot, situated 5 km further from Deban guest house. It lies across the Noa-Dihing River; it is also approachable by boat.

We will continue on our trek to Bulbulia which is also an enchanting camping site overlooking a large aquifer and derives its name from its several natural springs. We will also stop at camera point before moving to Hornbill. The camera point camping site, as the name suggests offers a vantage point for a breath-taking view of Namdapha and its lush green landscape.

On our trekking from Deban to Hornbill we will be able to witness the several types of vegetation's and lots of birds like the White winged Wood Ducks which is a rare and endangered species, Indian hornbills, jungle fowls and pheasants. The inaccessibility of greater part of Namdapha still keeps the forests in their pristine and virgin state in its natural form, therefore the wet tropical rain forest of Namdapha is an ideal breeding ground for varieties of animals and birds which is remarkable and worth seeing.

Late in the evening arrive to Hornbill camp. Upon arrival check in to the camp. Later stroll around the camp for more wildlife viewing and birding. Overnight stay in camp.


Day 12: Hornbill Camp - Namdapha -

Morning we will have a return trek to Deban, enjoying a lot of bird watching on the way. Upon reaching transfer to the Guest house. Spent the remaining day at leisure and admire the pristine beauty of the nature which presented here. Overnight stay at guest house.


Day 13: Namdapha - Dehing Patkai wildlife Sanctuary -

Morning after breakfast at Deban guest house we will leave for our next wildlife destination Dehing Patkai Wildlife sanctuary. The sanctuary is situated within the Dibrugarh and Tinsukia districts of Assam and sharing its boundary with Arunachal Pradesh. Basically the sanctuary is a part of Elephant reserve. The forest type of the sanctuary will be tropical wet & evergreen.

Upon arrival check into the tourist inspection bungalow. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at forest bungalow.


Day 14: Dehing Patkai wildlife Sanctuary -

Today we will go for an exploration to the Dehing Patkai sanctuary and enjoy the flora and fauna presented here. During our wildlife visit to the sanctuary we will be able to see the following wildlife mammals as Stump-tailed macaque, Assamese macaque, Rhesus macaque, Capped langur, Hoolock gibbon, Himalayan black bear, Hog-badger, Jungle cat, Fishing cat, Leopard cat, Marbled cat, Clouded leopard, Leopard, Tiger, Slow loris, Wild pig, Sambar, Barking deer, Gaur, Serow, Malayan giant squirrels, Porcupine, Pig-tailed macaque, Chinese pangolin, Flying fox, etc.

The avifauna found here in the Dehing Patkai wildlife sanctuary are Lesser Adjutant Stork, White Winged Wood duck, White-backed Vulture, Slender-billed Vulture, White cheeked Hill Partridge, Khaleej Pheasant, Grey Peacock-Pheasant, Rufous necked Hornbill, Wreathed Hornbill, Great Pied Hornbill, Beautiful Nuthatch, Black-browed Leaf Warbler, Green Imperial Pigeon, Purple wood or Pale capped Pigeon etc and among the reptiles Rock python, King cobra, Asian leaf turtle, Monitor Lizard are found in the sanctuary.

Later return to the forest bungalow for overnight stay.


Day 15: Dehing - Dibrugarh -

Morning after breakfast leave for Dibrugarh. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or one can go for hiking to the nearby tea plantation. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 16: Dehing - Dibrugarh -

Transfer to the Dibrugarh airport on time to board your flight for onward destination.
