Itinerary -
DAY 1 : Arrive Entebbe - Kampala (Approx 45 Kms / 1 hr 20 mins)
On arrival at the Entebbe airport, you will be met and transferred to the hotel in Kampala by a local representative. The next
welcome will be breeze from Lake Victoria - 2nd largest lake in the world. Overnight at the hotel in Kampala. (L & D)
DAY 2 : Kampala - Gulu (Approx 333 Kms / 4 hrs 35 mins)
Proceed to Gulu. Journey to Gulu is unforgettable with a vast countryside scenery. This is your first experience of Uganda outside
the city. Our first major stopover is Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will track Rhinos on foot. This sanctuary is home to several
bird species, mammals, and reptile. After lunch, proceed to Gulu arriving in the evening with brief stopover at Karuma Falls on River
Nile Overnight at the hotel in Gulu. (B, L & D)
DAY 3 : Gulu - Kidepo Valley National Park (Approx 227 Kms / 4 hrs 20 mins)
Start your journey to Kidepo Valley National Park. Drive to this true definition of African wilderness. Enjoy the scenery and game as
we drive to the accommodation in the park. Have a relaxed stay at the lodge. Overnight at the hotel/lodge in Kidepo Valley

DAY 4 : Kidepo Valley National Park
Today we shall have a full day game drive to catch up with early raisers and predators returning to their hideouts. This park is rich in
wildlife with the largest herds of buffaloes and only home of Cheetahs in Uganda. Explore seasonal river Narusvalley in search of
the localized carnivores like the bat-eared fox, striped hyena, aardwolf, and caracal. We will visit a Karimajong tribe depending on
the interests. Overnight at the hotel/lodge in Kidepo Valley National Park. (B, L & D)
DAY 5 : Kidepo Valley National Park - Murchison Falls National Park (Approx 270 Kms / 5 hrs 5 mins)
Drive to Murchison falls National Park - the home of the most powerful waterfalls. We will have a lunch stopover in Gulu arriving
Murchison Falls later that day. Overnight at the hotel in Murchison Falls National Park. (B, L & D)
DAY 6 : Murchison Falls National Park
Murchison Falls NP is the oldest and biggest park in Uganda. It is beautiful with amazing species of birds, reptiles, primates, and
mammals. The most sought after on a game drive are Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Uganda Kobs and leopards.In the
afternoon, the safari continues on River Nile for more game viewing and relaxation. The boat cruise will take you closer to the
`devils cauldron' also known as the bottom of the falls where the Nile is forced through a 7 meter gorge. Overnight at the hotel in
Murchison Falls National Park. (B, L & D)
DAY 7 : Murchison Falls National Park - Kibale Forest National Park (Approx 307 Kms / 6 hrs 20 mins)
The journeys reward is stunning views as you pass small villages, tea plantations, local markets, and crater lakes. Lunch is a picnic
or restaurant on the way to the lodge in the park. Arrive in the park later that afternoon/evening. Overnight atthe hotel/lodge in
Kibale Forest National Park. (B, L & D)
DAY 8 : Chimpanzee Trekking
Today you get to track chimpanzees in their natural habitat. The tracking happens twice a day - early morning and afternoon. The
trek will take you deep in the tropical forest where you may have sightings of the red-tailed, black and white Columbus monkeys
and many other primates. The forest is also home to butterflies, birds, mammals like Elephants, buffaloes, Antelopes but these are
shy compared to the savannah mammals. Your ranger guide will correspond with earlier trackers until he leads you to where the
chimps are. After a relaxing lunch, visit Bigodi community swamp known for its rich diversity of birds and primates depending on the
availability of time. Overnight at the hotel/lodge in Kibale Forest National Park. (B, L & D)
DAY 9 : Kibale Forest National Park - Queen Elizabeth National Park (Approx 102 Kms / 2 hrs)
Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have sighting of the mystical mountains of the moon, great landscapes, tea
plantations, gardens, and several crater lakes. We will have lunch enroute or at the lodge depending on arrival time. In the
afternoon, we leave for relaxing and exciting boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a stretch of water connecting Lakes George and
Edward. There are opportunities for great photographic moments with the startling birds and animals at the shores. Overnight at
the hotel/lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park. (B, L & D)
DAY 10 : Queen Elizabeth National Park - Ishasha (Approx 84 Kms / 1 hr 30 mins)
Early morning the animals in their different families, clans and groups are out starting on their day - this the best time to catch the
predators as they go back into hiding and the grazers as they start feeding. They go about `their business' oblivious of the
presence of humans. This is different from how they are in the caged zoos. We continue the game drive in Ishasha, famed for the
tree-climbing lions. It is not easy to sight them but we help of ranger guides the process is easier. Lunch will be a picnic or at the
lodge. Overnight at the hotel/lodge in Ishasha. (B, L & D)
DAY 11 : Ishasha - Bwindi (Approx 178 Kms / 3 hrs 30 mins)
Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is Africa's richest forest, with an impressive list of species, has 350 birds, 310 butterflies, 200
trees, 51 reptiles, 88 moths and 120 mammals including several primates, among them Chimpanzees, Black and white
colobus, Blue Monkeys, Grey-cheeked Mangabey, L'Hoest's monkey and the star attraction, the Mountain Gorilla. The drive to
Bwindi will take us through agriculturallands, plantations, and scenic terraced hillsides. On arrival, check into our lodgeand
have a relaxed afternoon preparing for the gorilla trekking the next day. Overnight at the hotel/lodge in Bwindi. (B, L & D)
DAY 12 : Gorilla Trekking
This may likely be the highlight of your entire safari - meeting with the gentle giants of Bwindi face to face. This unique experience
with the rare mountain gorillas is unforgettable. Enjoy the fullness of the impenetrable forest from birds singing,
monkeys jumping from tree to tree, butterflies flying all over to the sheer freshness given by numerous trees. The experience can
take anything from an hour (rarely) to about eight hours to accomplish. Overnight at the hotel/lodge in Bwindi. (B, L & D)
DAY 13 : Bwindi - Lake Bunyonyi (Approx 162 Kms / 4 hrs 5 mins)
Proceed to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is the second deepest lake in Africa and free from Bilharzia. After a successful gorilla trek
we leave for this beautiful lakes nestled towards the border with Rwanda. Say goodbye to the impenetrable forest and embrace
the beautiful great sceneries - interlocking hills terraced by the locals as they till the land for farming. Overnight at the hotel in
Kabale. (B, L & D)
DAY 14 : Lake Bunyonyi Islands Tour
Wake up in time for the beautiful sunrise. Have breakfast by the shores of the lake and prepare for the canoe ride to some of the
29 Islands that dot this lake. The Islands tours will introduce you to the cultures and history of the lake and surrounding areas.
You can choose to have a relaxed afternoon, take a swim, hike up the hill, or watch the beautiful sunset. Overnight at the hotel in

DAY 15 : Kabale - Lake Mburo National Park (Approx 214 Kms / 3 hrs 45 mins)
Drive to Lake Mburo National Park - home to the beautiful Zebras. Ugandan countryside is beautiful so you will have great
opportunities of photos and good scenery. You will have a stopover at a culture Museum displaying the life of the areas
native people. We arrive in the park in time for a boat trip on Lake Mburo.Overnight at the hotel in Lake Mburo National Park.
DAY 6 : Lake Mburo National Park - Jinja (Approx 328 Kms / 6 hrs)
Enjoy an early breakfast, have a game drive and leave for Kampala later. We will have a stopover at the famous Equator line for
souvenir shopping and photo moments. Arrive in Kampala and proceed to Jinja - the adventure capital of East Africa.

DAY 17 : Jinja - Kampala (Approx 85 Kms / 2 hrs 5 min)
The world's best grade 5 rafting is on River Nile in Uganda. River Nile starts its 4000 km journey from Lake Victoria in Jinja. Rafting
is a whole day's activity but there is option of half day. If uninterested in rafting - you have opportunities to visit the Source
of the Nile. Later proceed to the hotel in Kampala. Optional activities: Quad bike safari, bungee jumping, horseback safari

DAY 18 : Depart Kampala
This morning you will be transferred to Entebbe airport to board your flight back home or to your next destination. (B & L)
