Itinerary -

DAY 1 : Arrive Entebbe - Kampala (Approx 45 Kms / 1 hr 20 mins)

On arrival at the Entebbe airport, you will be met and transferred to the hotel in  Kampala by a local representative. The rest of the

evening is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Kampala. (L & D)

DAY 2: Kampala - Murchison Falls National Park (Approx 260 Kms / 3 hrs 35 mins)

Today leave for Murchison Falls National Park but first with stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. The Rhinos used to roam in

Murchison falls NP but were extinct due to poaching. Later we proceed to our lodge for overnight in the park.

DAY 3: Murchison Falls National Park

Today enjoy a wildlife safari in Murchison falls national park and boat trip on River Nile Murchison falls NP is home to a variety of

wildlife from mammals, birds, reptiles, insects etc. The big mammals that you are likely to see on a game drive include, Lions,

 Leopard, Elephants, Giraffe, Warthog, buffaloes, Jacksons hartebeest and in the afternoon enjoy a boat cruise along the Victoria

Nile. Overnight at the hotel/lodge in Murchison Falls National Park. (B, L & D)

DAY 4 : Murchison Falls National Park - Kibale National Park (Approx 290 Kms / 6 hrs 10 mins)

The travel to Kibale forest will take you through Uganda's countryside and roadside markets giving you to view Uganda beyond the

wildlife to the daily lives of the people. Arrive in Kibale National Park. Overnight at the hotel in Kibale NationalPark. (B, L & D)

DAY 5: Chimp Trekking

This primate activity happens in the tropical forest, which is alive with life of different inhabitants. You will first receive a briefing from

the ranger guide on how to behave while in forest trekking the chimps. The entire activity can take up to 6 hours depending on

where the chimps are in relation to briefing point. You will stay in the presence of chimps for 1 hour to observe them and take

pictures. Overnight at the hotel in Kibale National Park. (B, L & D)

DAY 6 : Kibale - Queen Elizabeth National Park (Approx 102 Kms / 2 hrs)

Proceed for Queen Elizabeth national park enjoying the view of crater lakes and tea plantations. The Rwenzori mountains are at a

distance inviting you for a hike on your next safari. Arrive in the park in time for a boat safari on Kazinga channel.

DAY 7 : Queen Elizabeth National Park - Ishasha (Approx 84 Kms / 1 hr 30 mins)

Drive to Ishasha, located in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth NP is home to the famous tree-climbing lions. After a short

game drive in Kasenyi, we leave for Ishasha to search for the tree-climbing lions. Overnight at the hotel in Ishasha. (B, L & D)

DAY 8 : Ishasha - Volcanoes National Park (Approx 145 Kms / 3 hrs 30 mins)

Today you will be transferred from Ishasha and cross over to Rwanda towards Volcanoes National Park. If you have watched

'Gorillas in the Mist', then you know what to expect at Volcanoes National Park. Arrive in Rwanda late in the evening.

DAY 9 : Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

This is the highlight for most people on this trip coming face to face with the gigantic mountain gorillas in the Virunga ranges. Enjoy

Rwandan coffee and traditional dances as you wait to start the briefing session. After distributed into different groups, meet

 up with your ranger guide and start the trek to search for the gorillas. For some groups you have to drive a distance before the

starting point. Overnight at the hotel in Ruhengeri (Volcanoes National Park). (B, L & D)

DAY 10 : Volcanoes National Park - Nyungwe Forest National Park (Approx 223 Kms / 4 hrs 50 mins)

Today we transfer to Nyungwe forest national park for much needed rest time and exploring the tropical forest. The journey there

gives great views of Rwanda's  countryside with Lake Kivu in the backdrop. Overnight at the hotel in Nyungwe Forest National Park.

DAY 11 : Nyungwe Forest Canopy Walk

Leave for the major rain catchment area in Rwanda - Nyungwe forest. This ancient forest is home to several bird species and 13

primates. There is a beautiful canopy  walk which you will experience while here.  Overnight at the hotel in Nyungwe Forest National

Park. (B, L & D)

DAY 12 : Depart Nyungwe Forest National Park

This morning you will be transferred to Kigali airport to board your flight back home or to your next destination. (B & L)

Murchison Falls National Park in the northwest is known for its 43m-tall waterfall and wildlife such as hippos.
